The 2024 WA Volunteer of the Year Awards program celebrates the value and incredible contributions of volunteering to the social, cultural, economic, and environmental well-being of Western Australia and pays tribute to those volunteers who inspire and promote the spirit of volunteerism through their exemplary endeavours. Nominations are open across seven categories, with Finalists announced at the end of March, and winners recognised at the Awards Ceremony in Perth during National Volunteer Week in May. Nominations will close on Friday, 8 March. |
Acknowledgement of Country
WALGA acknowledges the continuing connection of Aboriginal people to Country, culture and community. We embrace the vast Aboriginal cultural diversity throughout Western Australia, including Boorloo (Perth), on the land of the Whadjuk Nyoongar People, where WALGA is located and we acknowledge and pay respect to Elders past and present.
