Applications are now open for the Local Government Australian Early Development Census (AEDC) Grant Program. Funding of up to $100,000 is available for individual, or multiple Local Governments working in partnership, to implement community-wide strategic initiatives that improve the health and wellbeing of Western Australian children aged 0-5 years in response to their AEDC results.
The Department of Education, the Department of Communities and WALGA are co-hosting an information session to provide an overview of the program and support Local Governments learn how they can get involved.
