The Role of Mayors and Presidents
Overview
This training program aims to guide Mayors and Presidents on their role and responsibilities and provides an insight on how to be a successful community leader through effective communication, speaking on behalf of the Council, presiding at meetings and mentoring Elected Members.
This workshop is a great opportunity to network with other Mayors and Presidents and exchange ideas and experiences.

- Leadership and communication skills during emergencies and recovery as the official Local Government spokesperson
- Conduct of Elected Members
- Mediation and potential conflicts
- Communication protocols and how to navigate Social Media

- Mentor and training opportunities for Elected Members
